"Our Story: The Heart Behind Our Bakery" 

BR Bakerss Sttudio is named after my two biggest (and most brutally honest) critics—Burhan and Rukaiya, my children, my inspiration, and the reason this journey began.

 

What started as a side hustle by a single mom of two, while juggling life as a full-time teacher and daycare coordinator, has grown into an 11-year-old story of resilience, reinvention, and a lot of midnight baking.

 

My dear friend Khadija played a pivotal role in this journey—she taught me baking when I knew nothing beyond the basics and pushed me to start from home, take orders, and build something of my own.

 

For six years, my home kitchen was my studio, my classroom, and my stress-buster. Eventually, BR Bakerss Sttudio got its own space—one where ideas rise like good dough and creativity never cools down.

A big thank you to my brother, Ali Akbar, whose support gave me that very space to grow—after six years of baking from home, he made it possible for BR Bakerss Sttudio to finally have a place of its own.

 

I personally love creating novelty and structure cakes—the wild ones, the gravity-defying ones, the “wait, is that really cake?!” ones. I secretly live for the moment when clients or kids throw me an impossible design challenge. That's where I thrive.

 

I’m also a health-conscious mom who believes in balance—so yes, along with indulgent cakes, you’ll find my menu also includes healthier cake options, guilt-free treats made with the same love.

 

Now, I’m not just a baker, but also a coach, mentoring aspiring bakers to turn their passion into a profession—just like I did.

 

Many of my designs are inspired by real-life stories, Indian culture, joyful moments, and sometimes just pure chocolate cravings. I believe in cakes that start conversations, spark nostalgia, and become memories.

 

And if you ever catch me talking to a cake at 2 AM… no you didn’t.

My Story

I’m a 34-year-old single mom of two teenagers—which basically means I have the patience of a monk, the negotiation skills of a lawyer, and the multitasking abilities of a NASA scientist on a deadline.

 

Once a teacher, now a full-time baker (with a side hustle in healing and humour), I swapped blackboards for baking trays and found my rhythm somewhere between fondant and frosting.

I started baking when life served me burnt edges.

Now? I serve sweet centers—literally and metaphorically.

 

My Mission?

To spread joy, strength, and sweetness in every bite... and if I can make someone laugh hard enough to choke on a cupcake? That’s just bonus icing.

Where cake meets imagination—and sometimes, gravity takes the day off.

 

Welcome to the part of my world where cakes don’t just sit pretty—they lean, float, swing, hang, and occasionally look like they’ve defied the laws of physics (because they have).

 

From anti-gravity structure cakes that balance on a whim to novelty pieces that make guests stare before they dare to cut—each cake is built with technique, vision, and a sprinkle of madness.

 

But here’s the sweet part:

Every single cake you see here has a story.

 

Some were dreamt up by brides who sent mood boards at midnight.

 

Some were co-designed by kids (with very strong opinions and crayon sketches).

 

Some celebrated new beginnings, quiet wins, loud birthdays, or just because-we-can moments.

 

And some pushed me to build hidden supports, hanging tiers, and “how-is-this-even-standing?” moments that even my cake box was scared to carry.

 

Each creation here isn’t just a cake—it’s a memory made edible, a story told in buttercream and balance.
